Thermaltake Technology today announces their latest Internal Liquid Cooling System code named: BigWater (P/N:CL-W0005) Thermaltake Technology, the world's leading Thermal Solution manufacturer and provider, announces their latest Internal Liquid Cooling System code named BigWater(P/N:CL-W0005). BigWater is the successor to Thermaltake's Aquarius series of water cooling solution with major improvement to further enhance its thermal performance, safety and ease-of-use. The key improvement implemented onto the BigWater is its safety parameters. This is to address the major concern which is keeping mainstream computer users from adopting this highly effective method of thermal solution. Special connectors are included to prevent accidental water leak while installing / uninstalling the liquid cooling system. In addition to the safety consideration that it provides, the quick release function also cuts down the installation time. Ultimately, the thermal performance/noise level ratio of the liquid cooling solutions is what makes it so attractive. High power 12DC water pump that pumps out liquid at 120L/hr without the need for additional power source other than the standard 3 pin fan power connector on the motherboard. Its unique bearing design allows it to operate at a near silent 20dbA. Built-in blue LED allows the user to check whether the pump unit is operating proper and take action when necessary. Another critical component that dictates the performance of any liquid cooling system is its heat dissipation device also known as the radiator. The overall design of the radiator can have a great impact on the thermal performance. The normal cycle starts off with unheated liquid entering the CPU water block where it picks up heat generated from the processor then to the radiator for heat dissipation. BigWater utilizes a design that is very similar to car's radiator with pipes passing through layers of aluminum fins stacked together. Once heat is being passed onto the aluminum fins, a variable speed 12cm fan generates airflow ranging 38.6 CFM ~ 93.7 CFM at 17 dBA ~ 21 dBA directs the heat to outside. A pure copper water block unit with acrylic cover is employed for maximum heat transfer. Thanks to the high heat conductive property of copper, heat is transferred from the CPU and to water with high efficiency.
