Extreme Spirit will be Thermaltake's latest chipset cooling solution after their highly successful Blue Orb and Crystal Orb chipset cooler. Designed specifically to address heat problem occurred when overclocking. Many times, CPU FSB (Front Side Bus) is limited because heat has become an issue at Northbridge, chipset that communicates with the computer processor and controls interaction with memory; thus preventing higher possible CPU clock speed. By implementing a more efficient cooler, higher FSB and more stable system can be achieved. Extreme Spirit is equipped with a high performance and high-speed blower fan unit. With the included 3 Speed Fan Controller, users can adjust the speed of the blower fan. Because the way each motherboard is laid out from each different motherboard manufacturer, traditional installation method can only guarantee compatibility with certain motherboards. Thermaltake offers three different ways to secure the heat sink unit.
